Saffron

There is a moment in which passions, warmth and unforgettable loves characterize the time of year when life desire takes over everything. In this fascinating period the sun rises early and sets late, the nights are lovely. We’re talking about august, a months that can hide something profoundly mystical, in every contact with reality. Love seems to be the vehicle through which everything moves.
In August, the land is ready to accommodate in its home the beginning of the process that will bring to one of the most precious spices, saffron.

The poet says, “Let fate fall into the womb, and every decision is for the eternal.”

When they follow the poet’s advice, men begin their passionate courtship with the earth. They prepare it to accommodate a bulb that with the right blend of sweat, fertility, solar heat and water will turn into a precious miracle called flower.

Its intense and lively colors and the refined fragrance of its perfume will wrap and dull the senses. As the cut of an umbilical cord, it will be separated from the earth mother, stripped and prepared to delight the palates of those who intend to eat with love.
